Did you forget to post to the Student Gallery? Not a problem.

One of the strengths of this site is to allow links between content in ways that are new to traditional web forums. Linking gallery projects to tutorials allows users to see what was created using a specific tutorial. The easiest way to do this is to submit the image through the Student Gallery at the Tutorial description page.

If, however, you forgot to post the image through the Tutorial page, there is still a way to link the gallery project to a tutorial, by using the new feature “Link to Tutorial” found in the Gallery Tool Box.

If a Gallery Project is NOT linked, the “Request a Tutorial” vote counter will appear. You will also see the “Link to tutorial” available underneath the counter.

This link is only available to the original poster of the gallery entry and to JewelryLessons.com moderators and staff.

If the Gallery Project is linked to a tutorial, you will see a “Get Tutorial” link located in the Tool box. If you are the original poster, you will also see a “Remove link to tutorial”.

Using the Link to Tutorial feature:

1) Locate one of your gallery projects which is not linked to a tutorial.

3) Type a word found in the title. A pull down will appear offering the tutorials which contain that word.

6) Once the gallery project and tutorial are linked, the Request a Tutorial counter will disappear and the “Get Tutorial” link will appear. Now other users can easily access the tutorial through this gallery item.

NEW: This feature is available to all registered members, however, only the original poster and JewelryLessons.com staff can use it on any given gallery project.
